    Ontario's Niagara Escarpment

    This UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve site is one of Canada's most noteworthy landforms. The Niagara Escarpment is located in populated areas of southern Ontario, running over 700kms/450mi from Niagara to Tobermory. Fossil rich sedimentary rock, magnificient waterfalls, and over 300 bird species are just some of the multitude of sights in the area.

    Bruce Peninsula National Park

    The park is accessible from the south along Hwy 6 or from South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island via Ontario Northland Ferry M.S. Chi-Cheemaun, which operates during the spring, summer and fall. Hiking is a prime activity in summer, as is camping.

    Fathom Five National Marine Park

    Fathom Five National Marine Park is Canada's first National Marine Conservation Area. The park features 22 shipwrecks, historic lightstations and a pristine freshwater ecosytem.
